Coughs and asthma

Asthma is caused by spasms in the muscles surrounding the bronchii. constricting the outward passage of air. Coughing, wheezing and tightness in the chest are all symptoms and breathing can be difficult. Dry towel massage can be beneficial for coughs, asthma and colds. Several pressure points along the arms and on the chest clear heat from the lungs, which can bring relief to those suffering with coughs or asthma. Take a dry towel and rub the arms and legs toward the heart. Continue until the body feels warm. This promotes good circulation and skin respiration, improving the health of the whole body. Use any of the following oils: Asthma: cypress, camomile, cajput, bergamot (do not use oils in steam inhalation for asthma). Coughs: benzoin, cajput. cedarwood, marjoram, tea tree. During the massage apply pressure to the following points, pressing each tor 3-7 seconds.

Point 1: In the center of the base of the throat.

Point 2: Below the mid-end of the collarbone.

Point 3: On the breast bone between the nipples.

Point 4: Below the first rib above the nipple.

Point 5: In the elbow crease on Inc thumb side of the tendon.

Point 6: On top of the shoulder where the collarbone and shoulder blade meet.

Point 7: One and a half thumb widths from the wrist crease below the base of the thumb.

Point 8: Below the wrist crease under the base of the thumb where a small pulse can be felt.
