Sinus pain, colds and sore throats

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the nasal sinuses accompanying upper respiratory infection. The sinuses affected are behind the bridge of the nose and in the upper nose. above the eyes and inside each cheekbone. Acute sinusitis is often caused by colds and infections. Symptoms include pain over the forehead and cheekbones. headache, earachc, toothache and facial pain. With colds it is best to allow the mucus to flow without using decongestants, as it is the body's way of ridding itself of the virus. Sore throats are caused by viral and bacterial infections, usually as an extension of the common cold, although they sometimes result from allergies. Plenty of vitamin C and hot liquids are beneficial for any type of sore throat. If you have a throat infection avoid vigorous massage. As colds are highly infectious it is best to work on yourself.
