Stress, anxiety and insomnia

Many people suffer from stress as a result of exhausting schedules and other aspects of modern life. Stress is a major contributing factor to conditions such as high blood pressure and heart- disease, and lowers immunity to many types of disease. It can also lead to problems such as anxiety and insomnia. Massage is the natural way to relax and rebalance your body, enabling you to regain both physical and mental health. For stress, use essential oils such as geranium and jasmine, and for anxiety and insomnia use lavender - sprinkle a few drops on your pillow too. Press into the following points for 3-7 seconds during the course of your massage or press into them whenever necessary.

Point 1: At the end of the internal elbow crease, when the arm is bent. the wrist crease.

Point 2: On the inside of the wrist, between the two tendons, approximately two thumb widths from the wristcrease.

Point 3: Just below the small bone at the wrist crease on the little finger side.

Point 4: On the inside of Ihe little finger just below the nail.

Point 5: About one and a half thumb widths in from the web. between the big and second toe.

Point 6: Four finger widths above the inner ankle - press in at the edge of the bone.

Stress: Press points 2 and 5.

Anxiety and insomnia: Press points 1, 3, 4 and 6.

Avoid pressing point 6 if you are pregnant!
